The publisher is a key partner of  TU Wien Bibliothek as part of their open access initiative. Through this collaboration, authors can publish their research findings in freely accessible academic journals without having to apply for funding themselves, significantly simplifying the publication process.

Cogitatio Press places great emphasis on the free availability of research findings, thereby promoting the exchange of knowledge that benefits researchers, policymakers, and society at large. The publisher's publications are listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and are subject to strict quality assurance processes such as peer review.

As part of the collaboration with TU Wien Bibliothek, the costs for publishing in Cogitatio Press' open-access journals are covered by the TU Wien publication fund, provided the funding criteria are met. The publication must be under an open license, and the funding from TU Wien Bibliothek must be acknowledged in the acknowledgments.

Through partnerships with publishers like Cogitatio Press, TU Wien actively supports the dissemination of scientific knowledge and contributes to the promotion of open access to information.
