Mobility Conference 2025: Presentation of a research project on the topic of “Mobility poverty in Vienna”

[Translate to English:] Mobilitätskonferenz

As part of the Mobility Conference 2025 of the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK), which will take place on March 31 and April 1, 2025 at the Courtyard Vienna Prater/Messe, the results of a research project on “Mobility Poverty in Vienna (AMOWI)” will be presented. In this project, which was funded by the Jubilee Fund of the City of Vienna and led by the Institute of Transport Science at BOKU Vienna, the SRF team calculated daily accessibility and combined it with the data from the mobility survey from the PEGASUS project. The empirical results, which show exciting and sometimes surprising findings on commuting-related mobility poverty in Vienna, will be presented at the AMOWI workshop (April 2, 13:00-15:00) by Maria Juschten (Graz Energy Agency), Reinhard Hössinger (BOKU Vienna), Hans Kramar and Bernhard Meinhart and discussed with an expert audience.
