Regional development planning deals with the question of how space should develop at a regional level. A region is defined by the natural or cultural similarities of an area and usually consists of several administrative units.

After researching and planning the Wiener Neustadt city region, the Lower Traisental valley, the Thaya - Taffa - Wild small region and last year Eferding, among others, in recent years, the Strudengau Nord region is the subject of this year's project.
