A mobility station in your neighbourhood with a service according to your wishes, how does that sound?
On Monday, 27 September 2021, an information event on our Mo.Hub project took place at 6 pm at the neighbourhood centre Neubau.
About the project
The aim of the research project Mo.Hub is to combine diverse mobility offers with attractive public space in the Grätzl. This is done by means of mobility stations, the so-called Mo.Hubs. The stations are developed in cooperation with residents, businesses, mobility service providers, politics and administration. The mobility stations bundle mobility offers and services such as e-bikes, e-scooters and car sharing vehicles. Thus, a means of transport meeting the individual demands can be chosen for all kind of journeys and the private car can be replaced in the long term. The freed-up space offers room for new mobility and attractive recreational areas. In other words, there is more space for forms of mobility such as cycling and walking, for green space and much more.
