Shruti Athavale shared her inspiring career path and provided a comprehensive overview of key ESG highlights and trends shaping the industry: Environmental Social Governance (ESG) has become an integral part of almost every business and a key component of corporate governance. It plays a significant role across various business areas. The growing importance of ESG reflects a broader awareness of the need to balance economic growth with social justice and environmental protection. Companies and investors taking these principles seriously not only contribute to a more sustainable future, but also position themselves for long-term success.

Besides those highly interesting insights the audience, among them three generations of ETIA students,  had the opportunity to network and discuss the question Shruti posed at the beginning of her talk: What did you want to be when you were a child? If your dream was to become an expert in Sustainability and Environmental Technology we might help to fulfill it - find out how, opens an external URL in a new window
