On 20 March 2025, the land.mobil:LAB was launched at FRAU iDA in the Lower Austrian town Zwettl. The event ‘Awakening of the LML community’ focused on the future of mobility in rural areas. After an inspiring exchange of visions and challenges, the community tackled its innovation projects.

From peer-to-peer car sharing and cultural mobility to the transformation of car parks and petrol stations - the land.mobil:LAB is developing forward-looking solutions. Other focal points include student mobility, co-working in rural areas and optimising regional on-demand transport.

The land.mobil:LAB is funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure, opens an external URL in a new window as part of the RTI programme Mobility Transition and is managed by FFG Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH, opens an external URL in a new window.
