The Academy for Continuing Education (ACE), the postgraduate education arm of TU Wien, and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) are pleased to announce that they will offer a joint MBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management starting in Fall 2023. This unique offering will allow students to fully leverage the core competencies of two technical universities, thereby gaining an international perspective.

Several factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic, are currently causing a supply chain crisis and, thus, trade tensions in many parts of the world. The Executive MBA program helps participants understand how to manage and optimize the flow of goods and materials within a supply chain. 

This can help them identify and eliminate potential bottlenecks and disruptions early on, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing costs. Through their understanding of logistics and supply chain management, Operations & Supply Chain Management MBA students can help ensure that goods and materials are delivered where they are needed at the right time and a reasonable cost. This is especially important in times of crisis when the smooth functioning of supply chains is critical to the economy and society.

Tomorrow's managers must therefore be fit in procurement and supply, end logistics, product and process quality, and cost and materials management so that their product reaches the customer on time and as cost-effectively as possible.

Through cooperation with the California Institute of Technology, ACE offers students the opportunity to gain insight into building global supply chains and current trends such as back- or reshoring at one of America's most renowned universities. Additionally, participants will enjoy meeting one of the most renowned faculty in the United States and a global network of inspiring thought leaders.
