What has become of the ARA Best Study Award winner Christina Kauer?

Excellent academic achievements not only impress on the certificate. ARA AG, opens an external URL in a new window grants the Best Study Award to those ETIA students with the best academic performance over the two years of study.
One of them is Christina Kauer, alumna of the postgraduate program MSc Environmental Technology & International Affairs (ETIA) and winner of the ARA Best Study Award 2018: „The ARA Best Study Award was a source of motivation throughout the program. It was a great reward for putting in all the effort during my studies and I am very grateful for the financial relief once starting life after university.”

Career steps since the graduation

“Currently, I am working in the financial department of an NGO operating in the social sector in Eastern Europe. Working in an international environment allows me to apply the knowledge and skills I gained during the ETIA program on a daily basis. Even though it might not be obvious, climate change also plays an important role in this sector and I think it is very interesting and important to combine environmental and social sustainability.”
