Our faculty member Werner Weiss is a founding member and director of AEE – Institute for Sustainable Technologies (AEE INTEC) in Gleisdorf, Austria and since June 2010 chairman of the Solar Heating and Cooling Programme of the International Energy Agency (IEA). In our part-time master’s program MSc Renewable Energy Systems he gives lectures on solar heating, International solar thermal networks and organizations and future concepts and research activities on the field of solar thermal technology.

In our latest faculty spotlight Werner Weiss speaks about his lectures, gives us an overview of the current job situation in the field of solar and thermal energy and talks about the activities of his company AEE Intec. He also addresses current challenges on the market and explains that the energy market should always be considered as an integrated system.
