ReStart Scholarship 2020

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the automotive and supply industry in a previously unknown dimension. After the hard shutdown, companies are slowly starting  their production again. The Corona crisis has shown how important the agility and flexibility of managers in automotive and supply industry are.

In order to give a special support to the automotive industry after the turbulent year 2020, the Continuing Education Center of the TU Wien in cooperation with the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava has decided to offer another partial scholarship – ReStart Scholarship -  for the re-start this year.

The next Professional MBA Automotive Industry program starts on October 22, 2020. In order to give an opportunity for high level academic education to qualified and motivated persons fulfilling the admission requirements a ReStart Scholarship  in the amount of EUR 8,000.- will be awarded:

Please send your application documents (Curriculum Vitae, certificate of previous degree such as transcripts and diploma in English, German or Slovak language or certified translation, copy of passport and letter of motivation) and an essay (up to 1,500 words) about “the Future of the Automotive Industry” in English to automotive@tuwien.ac.at by July 19, 2020 the latest.

The Online hearing will take place on July 23, 2020 at 2:30 pm.

The scholarship will be awarded by a jury. The retention for a “ReStart Scholarship" is EUR 12,000.00 plus the cost of trips & overnight stays. There is no legal recourse. The winners will be informed.
