Professional MBA Entrepreneurship & Innovation: Guest Speaker Event with Birgit Reiter-Braunwieser from Austrian Business Agency

We were very happy that Ms. Birgit Reiter-Braunwieser, Director of the Austrian Business Agency, opens an external URL in a new window, came to TU Wien again as our guest speaker for the E&I class 2018-2020.

In her talk – Excellence in Innovation and R&D – she gave an overview about Austria’s innovation ecosystem and the dynamically growing startup scene, as well as the advantages it offers to international and local founders. Moreover, Ms. Reiter-Braunwieser described the Austrian Funding System.

The talk also highlighted the support instruments of the Austrian Business Agency on offer and the government policy towards R&D and startups at the national and regional level. Many interesting questions raised by the students were then also answered when Mrs. Reiter-Braunwieser joined the buffet in a cozy atmosphere.
