Positive spring mood and happy faces at the 15th program start of our MSc Renewable Energy Systems

[Translate to English:] 15. Programmstart MSc Renewable Energy Systems

On 21st March we celebrated the 15th program start of our master program MSc Renewable Energy Systems. After the joint welcome breakfast with the program team from CEC, academic director Prof. Reinhard Haas and our program partner Energiepark Bruck / Leitha, the 17 participants started the first day at the TU Campus Gußhausstraße. Due to sunny spring weather, the new students were quite motivated and came together for a joint group picture at the campus terrace above Vienna’s rooftops and everyone enjoyed the good mood and smiling faces.

The strong international character of the industry is reflected in the class composition of this year’s class. The 17 students come from 14 different nations spread across Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.

The professional and academic background of the participants is also very diverse and shows the interdisciplinarity of the renewable energy sector. The three pillars of the program are already well represented with the technical, economic and legal background and experience of the students. Thus we are looking forward to the exciting discussions that will come up in the course of the 2-year program!

After an intensive first day at the TU Wien, the students and the program team met in the nearby restaurant Wieden Bräu. With great anticipation of the upcoming trip to Hamburg in April, which takes place in the course of the annual Country Module, numbers were exchanged and first learning groups were formed.

We are pleased about this successful program start and wish the participants all the best for their time at the TU Wien!
