Graduation ceremony of the „Real Estate Management & Valuation“ Programme

On May 2, 2019, the academic graduation ceremony of the university course MSc"Real Estate Management and Valuation" took place in the festive setting „TUtheSky “of the Vienna University of Technology.

The event started with the solemn entrance of the graduates to "Gaudeamus Igitur" - played by the string quartet of the TU Orchestra.

Afterwards, Ao. Univ. Prof. Dr. Bob Martens, FRICS, Dean of Academic Affairs for Continuing Education welcomed the graduates, their relatives and friends as well as the guests of honour and praised the high dedication of the graduates.

Mag. Elisabeth Rohr, Secretary General of CEPI & Vice President of the ÖVI, congratulated the alumni and emphasized the importance of support and support from family and friends for the completion of part time studies.

She also emphasized the important role of the CEPI in the real estate industry and how much she appreciates the cooperation with the Vienna University of Technology. In the main part of the graduation ceremony, the academic director Ao. Univ. Prof. Dr. Bob Martens awarded the Academic degree to the graduates.

Afterwards the graduate Mag. (FH) Stephan de Giacomo MRICS, MSc took the floor on behalf of his fellow students and reported on the special challenge of extra-occupational postgraduate studies. He took the opportunity to thank the families and friends for their support during their studies. After some academic anecdotes he also emphasized the excellent personal networking within the group - many lifelong friendship were initiated by the study.

After the official ceremony, the alumni celebrated with their families, friends and the guests of honour.
