General Management MBA - Practice-oriented teaching on data protection law

For the participants of the General Management MBA program, the exciting topic of data protection law was the focus of a seminar of the module "European and International Business Law" on May 24, 2019.

Attorney Dr. Lukas Feiler, head of the IT Law team at Baker & McKenzie and co-author of, among other things, the first practitioner book on the DSGVO, shared his knowledge and practical experience with the students.

The content of the half-day seminar focused on the rights and obligations under the new basic data protection regulation for companies. In addition to information, among other things on new rights of data subjects as well as reporting and documentation obligations, the participants of the MBA program were given an insight into different security measures to ensure data protection.

The General Management MBA is offered in cooperation with the Danube University Krems and starts this year on October 30th. All information about the program can be found here.
