After a shot bus ride we were welomed by our guide Rudi who gave us an insight into the history of the Energiepark and the current capcities: Starting in 1995 with only 5 turbines to to meet the needs of the municipality of Bruck today 54 turbines produce green electricity for over 100,000 households.

A particular highlight was climbing one of the wind turbines, which offered the students an impressive view of the entire energy park and the surrounding landscape - as far as the Schneeberg.

The students were given a good insight into Austrian sustainable energy production and were particularly interested in the economic aspects of green electricity.
