Spring is the time when high school graduates not only look forward to this important examination, but also think about their professional future after this important stage of their lives - it is the time of career days.

The Careers Day at HTL 1 Bau und Design Linz is an annual meeting place where not only entrepreneurs from the construction industry vie for the talents of tomorrow. Educational institutions also find their way to Linz Wegscheid every year to the HTL's school building yard, which is always packed on this day. 
For the students, it is the ideal opportunity to make initial contacts with future employers or to position themselves for various internships, some of which are mandatory for HTL students. 

In addition to the TU Wien Academy for Continuing Education, TU Graz and several universities of applied sciences and other continuing education institutes were also represented from the education sector.
Many of the pupils would like to study architecture or civil engineering later on, others are more interested in starting to work and some are planning to study part-time.

The TU Wien Academy offers the ideal course for precisely this last group: with its mix of technology, economics and law, our university course in Real Estate Management offers ideal preparation for the challenges of the real estate world and leads to qualifications for several real estate professions (real estate agent, administrator, developer) after just 4 semesters. One of the main aspects of the course is its part-time format, which makes it possible to combine a full-time job with a degree course. The courses take place in blocks in the evenings or rarely on Saturdays and the class group of a maximum of 30 participants offers an optimal learning environment, which is also proofed by the high completion rates. 

The students were very interested in what the exhibitors had to offer and TU Wien will be taking part in this well-organized careers fair again next year.
