The business law firm Bischof Zorn + Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH , opens an external URL in a new windowpresented the BZP Award for the second time at the graduation ceremony for the MSc Real Estate Investment & Valuation.

With this award, the law firm honors the master thesis that particularly stands out in the field of real estate law. The award is endowed with €3,000. The award will be presented by Mag. Guido Zorn, MSc Partner at Bischof Zorn + Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH. Mag. Guido Zorn, MSc himself graduated from the course in 2011 and therefore knows from his own experience how challenging part-time studies are.

The first BZP Award was given to Dipl.-Ing. David Marhold, BA BSc MSc in May 2022. He won the award for his master thesis with the topic: "The contribution of the WEG Amendment 2022 to the achievement of climate policy goals".

The second prizewinner is Mag. Martin Burgstaller, MSc. On December 5, 2022, he received the award for his work entitled "Determination of the fee for the surrender of main tenancy rights using the example of an apartment building". Mr. Mag. Guido Zorn, MSc, praised the examination of this difficult and complex topic in this work. On the one hand, Mag. Martin Burgstaller MSc devoted himself to a well-founded legal interpretation of the facts and, on the other hand, to recognizing the interests of his own clients and their business partners, coupled with a good portion of empathy and imagination for creative solutions. Herr Mag. Guido Zorn, MSc: “In our opinion, this is the recipe for successful advice and representation.”

Finally, Mag. Zorn, MSc congratulates all graduates and wishes them all the best for their future: "Whether forests, condominiums, apartment buildings or commercial real estate - you know the respective characteristics and have an overview and understanding of the market needs and the ability to competently implement all associated business processes.”

We look forward to further awards for master theses in the MSc Real Estate Investment & Valuation course.
