As an architect, researcher, and teacher, Karin Stieldorf wants to design sustainably, create a biophilic world, learn from the past, and pave the way for a bright future. Her motto for this is: „Form should follow function, follow energy, aim for beauty, pay attention to the peoples needs.“
In the TEDxTALK "High- or Low-Tech? Seeking the Best Way to Sustainable Building" she addresses aesthetics in architecture and how it interacts with sustainability. She goes into the factors that play a role in this regard, requirements and sustainable goals that should be achieved and presents some sustainable building projects.
She hopes that many more people will choose sustainable architecture in the future, and we support this endeavor.
