The new generation of experts for the real estate industry

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bob Martens, FRICS, course director of the real estate courses, officially welcomed the new students to the TU Wien Academy. He gave an insight into the 35-year history and development of the real estate programs at TU Wien as well as an outlook on the coming four semesters. He emphasized the need for lifelong learning to ensure professional success for decades to come. The challenges of the real estate industry require sound expert knowledge in order to be fit for the future.

The personal introductions highlighted the wide range of specialist areas and professional activities that the students bring to the group. In addition, the first common interests and hobbies were already found, which, in addition to studying, also enable private networking.

As a representative of the ImmoABS alumni association, Stephan di Giacomo welcomed the new students and presented the association's activities. He emphasized the importance of the network that is already available to students during their studies. The association's joint activities, including lectures and excursions, provide students with valuable insights into practice and enable them to build a sustainable professional network.

After the official welcome, there was plenty of time to socialize in a relaxed atmosphere and prepare for the upcoming start of studies.

The TU Wien Academy team wishes all participants a successful start and all the best for the next four semesters!
