Also this year the TU Ball took place in the usual premises of the Vienna Hofburg. The ball was again completely sold out and the Hofburg was very well attended. Until 5:00 o'clock in the morning there was dancing in the numerous ballrooms.

The TU Ball is one of the oldest still existing ball events in Vienna. Its beginnings go back to the "Techniker-Kränzchen" (technician get-togethers), which have been held regularly since the founding of the Polytechnic Institute (today's TU Wien)in 1815.

The jazz band Boston Heat created a good atmosphere in the CEC Lounge, to which some visitors also let their legs swing. Many thanks to all the guests who visited us so numerously, for the interesting conversations and the excellent atmosphere.
