Best poster prize for Paul Haidegger

At the Annual Meeting of the Austrian Physical Society, the poster of Paul Haidegger, Alex Imre, other members of the ViPErLEED team, and collaboration partners from the special research programme TACO was selected as the best poster.

Paul Haidegger was awarded the best poster prize at the 73^rd Annual Meeting of the Austrian Physical Society, opens an external URL in a new window!

The poster A modern tensor-LEED implementation based on ViPErLEED and JAX was created in a collaboration of the ViPErLEED, opens an external URL in a new window team with colleages from the special research programme TACO, opens an external URL in a new window. The poster describes a computer program using the latest technology, allowing users to reduce the time for finding the optimum surface structure from hours to minutes.
