Participants gained an in-depth insight into the fascinating world of fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Particularly impressive were the visits to the Turbulent Water Channel, the Subsonic Wind Tunnel, and the Shallow Water Tunnel – through clear demonstrations, it became evident why this research is crucial for many everyday applications.

The tour not only provided a behind-the-scenes look at experimental research but also offered numerous opportunities for questions and lively exchanges among the participants. It was an informative and inspiring day that highlighted the significance of these research areas once again.

A big thank you to Christiane Lechner and the entire team at the institute for the excellent organization and valuable insights!
