From May 13-16, the biennial ÖGHMP conference took place in Salzburg, where water-associated health played a major role among many preventive medicine topics. Our Molecular Microbiology in Sanitary Engineering team presented the group's research topics (wastewater monitoring and antibiotic resistance) in poster pitches and were also involved in other contributions as co-authors.
We are excited that Gabriela Eder's poster (“Vienna wastewater surveillance program on SARI causing pathogens for public health”) was honoured with the “Best Poster Award”!
Moreover, Irina Dielacher and Gabriela Eder were also awarded a conference scholarship. Congratulations!
