Happy to present Krlovic et al 2024, part 2!

Another paper from his time at Research Unit Water Quality Management and our PFAS journey is now published.

Here they explore the where, why and how of PFAS emissions in urban sewage, by taking an activity-based approach. Interesting insights are found with respect to activities associated with different PFAS compounds, with a notable result for PFOS and 6:2 FTS.
This new article resulting from the interdisciplinary FATERISK Aqua project funded by WWTF, in which we collaborate with the groups of Julia Derx and Claudia Gundacker to better understand the fate of PFAS within the urban water system and their hazard for human and environmental health.
