Site Visit Volkswagen Slovakia

On October 11, 2018 the participants of the 9th Professional MBA Automotive Industry, opens an external URL in a new window visited the Volkswagen Slovakia plant. Since the start of car production in 1992 Volkswagen Slovakia has produced more than 5 million cars in five different brands, like Volkswagen Touareg, Audi Q7, Volkswagen up!, Škoda Citigo, SEAT Mii and part of Bentley.

Mr. Eric Reuting, the member of the Board for Human Resources welcome participants and introduced the Volkswagen Group and and also characteristics of the plant in Bratislava. He also mentioned the important role of Volkswagen Slovakia for the Slovak economy.

Mr. Jankovic spoke about the efforts and measures for the quality assurance in the plant. The morning program was concluded by lecture of Mag. Michaela Ploszeková, MBA who is the Head of Environmental Department in Volkswagen plant in Bratislava and one of the participants of the program Professional MBA Automotive Industry. She introduced in her lecture the vision of meeting environmental goals and successfully implemented corporate strategy ´Think Blue. Factory.´ in Bratislava plant.

Afterwards, the group of participants visited the aggregate hall of New Small Family (NSF), the body shop and press shop. Students were introduced technological equipment, logistics solutions and individual operational processes. During the tour  Ms. Ploszekova showed and  explained the realized measures in term of environmental protection
