On June 27, 2013 the graduation ceremony of the Professional MBA Automotive Industry together with the MSc Program Environmental Technology and International Affairs was held at the Vienna University of Technology. From second (2) and third program (16) 18 students finished the Professional MBA Automotive Industry successfully and fifteen students joined the graduation ceremony and received their certificates.

The ceremony was opened by the Dean of Academic Affairs for Continuing Education, Bob Martens, followed by Ambassador Dr. Hans Winkler, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and Assoc.Prof. Ing. Frantisek Hornak, PhD, Vice Rector, STU Bratislava.

As the festive speech, Mrs. Brigitte Kroll-Thaller spoke about  the future challenges in the mobility sector with the special challenges in the field of the reduction of emissions.

Prof. Jan Lesinsky, Academic Director of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava congratulated graduates on their achievement and reviewed the past two year’s activities. After the congratulatory remarks as the highlight of the graduation ceremony the diplomas and certificates were handed over to the new graduates by the Academic Director Prof. Sihn and Prof. Lesinsky.

As the representative of the graduates, Mr. Klaus Müller, MBA looked back two years study. In his opinion the group was a very funny and dynamic group. His personal benefit was the network building between very dynamic and heterogeneous student members with different ages, different nationalities, different background and others. Also he could learn lot of things from other colleagues. By his speech he presented the result of feedbacks of graduates. The result shows that all graduates were satisfied with the program. With thanks to the colleagues for the good collaborations as well as family and faculty members for their support he closed his speech.

For the first time Prof. Wilfried Sihn, Academic Director of the Vienna University of Technology awarded Mr. Dipl.-Betriebsw. Günther Fischer, MBA and Mr. Klaus Müller, MBA the best study award. They have the best average grade of all lectures including Master’s Thesis.
