The daily newspaper “Die Presse” supports with scholarships young talented professionals of the automotive and component supply industries.

For the seventh time the hearing for the "Die Presse Scholarship" took place on April 12, 2017 at the TU Wien.

Emrah Eminoglu (Magna Powertrain, Graz) and DI Ramesh Kumar Selvasankar (Gebauer& Griller Kabelwerk, Poysdorf) convinced with their motivation and professional background the jury which consisted of Univ. Prof. Dr. Wilfried Sihn (Academic Director, TU Wien), Univ. Prof. Dr. Jan Lesinsky (Academic Director, Slovak Technical University in Bratislava), Andreas Walter (Die Presse) and Dr. Man Wook Han (Program Manager, TU Wien).

Mr. Emrah Emioglu studied Mechanical Engineering (BSc), Middle East Technical University, Ankara and Systems and Control (MSc), Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands.  He worked as a Functional Safety Manager at Bosch in Germany. He has been working as a Global Functional Safety Manager at Magna Powertrain GmbH. Mr. DI Selvasankar started his career as Lead Engineer at Gebauer & Griller Kabelwerk GmbH, who supplies cable harnesses to several reputed automobile manufactures all over the world. 

The tenth class of the Professional MBA Automotive Industry starts on March 28, 2018.
