On October 4, 2012 Professional MBA Automotive Industry started successfully for the fourth time. Until now participants has visited successfully the business administration related topics and also took part in the excursion and onsite lecture at Volkswagen Slovakia.

In order to give actual trends and future perspective of the development in the automotive industry a Business Evening with Mr. Albrecht Reimold, CEO Volkswagen Slovakia was held. Mr. Albrecht started his career at Audi and was responsible for the production planning of Audi A6 and A8. Internationally Mr. Reimold was responsible for the production planning of the factories in China and India. Since February 2012 he is CEO of the Volkswagen Slovakia.

In his lecture Production strategies and worldwide market he introduced the Volkswagen Group and its strategies to be No. 1 in the automotive industry. The vision is that in 2018 the Volkswagen group will be a value-adding oriented, synchronous company based on the best production system. He described the production strategy and efforts of the Volkswagen group to meet the global challenges in the automotive industry. Onwards Mr. Reimold answered questions covering from e-mobility to brand building.
