We are involved in phase manipulation of electron beams in a transmission electron microscope, detection of optical and magnetic properties of materials using electron beam techniques, and fundamental electron-matter interactions.

In addition to applied electron microscopy, we are currently working on:

  •         Optical excitations by electron beam techniques
  •         Phase manipulation in electron beams
  •         Mapping of atomic orbitals
