Assignment to our (IMW) research priorities:

  • Learning Factories
  • Education and Training
  • Human-centricity
  • Industry 4.0

Sponsor: EIT Manufacturing

Duration: 01.01.2023-31.12.2023

Abstract:

Hybrid learning becomes increasingly important for teaching and learning factories (TLFs), due to higher flexibility, reusability, availability and cost efficiency of trainings, all common limitations of TLFs. Therefore, CompetenSEE aims at design, development and implementation of a hybrid training course featuring TLFs in South-East Europe (SEE), namely Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Croatia.

The activity will provide a joint (international), hybrid training course, encompassing E-learning, hands-on learning and remote learning, for professional training tailored to local industry demands for upskilling of professionals and job-seekers towards Industry 4.0 readiness. For this purpose, networks of TLFs in SEE will be leveraged to implement trainings for Industry 4.0 in RIS regions, in particular Balkan region. Furthermore, this project will open markets for commercialization of the training course in all partner countries and beyond.

Results:

Courses and learning paths are to be offered in different languages for students, job seekers and jobholders located in participating regions of SEE. Also learning content is tailored to the needs of local companies and the European labor market. Hence the creation of a learning factory network is conducive to future cooperation between existing and new learning factories. In addition, members benefit from a lively exchange of knowledge and technology.
