Travel Information

Within Vienna, the conference venue is easily accessible by public transport:​

• Underground lines U1, U4 to Karlsplatz​

• Tramway lines 1, 62, Badner Bahn to Karlsplatz and 2, 71, D to Oper/Karlsplatz​

• Bus lines 4A, 59A to Karlsplatz​

By train: Vienna has train connections to several major European cities. From Wien Hauptbahnhof, take the U1 subway line to Karlsplatz. From Wien Westbahnhof, take the U3 to Volkstheater and then the tramway 1, 2, 71, or D to Karlsplatz. From Wien Mitte, take the U4 to Karlsplatz.​

By car: The venue is close to the main transit routes through Vienna. However, parking in the central areas of Vienna is limited to 1½-2 hours and parking vouchers, available at tobacconists (“Trafik”), are required.​
