Benedetta Costa is currently a Ph.D. student and project assistant at the Civil Engineering Department of the TU Wien. Her current research is focused on designing and developing sustainable binders to use as sealants in historical masonry to avoid water filtration. Before the TU Wien experience, she worked for one year and a half as a researcher with a scholarship at the University of Padua (Department of Geosciences - CIRCe Group) and Opigeo SRL (a spin-off of Padua University) with the aim of giving new life to wastes that come from different industrial realities, enhancing the circular and green economy. She obtained both bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Padua in Geology and Technical Geology.
