Why study spatial planning? | videos of the research units

You have decided to study spatial planning or are interested in the programme?

Since the winter semester 2019/2020, there is an admission procedure for the Bachelor's Programme in Spatial Planning at TU Wien, which has to be completed before admission and before enrolling.

200 places are allocated per academic year for the Bachelor's Programme in Spatial Planning.

3 steps to enrolment

1. online registration in the TU software TISS

The online registration is carried out once a year before the beginning of the winter semester and is valid for the winter semester and the following summer semester. To the online registration!, opens an external URL in a new window

2. letter of motivation

In your letter of motivation you should explain and justify why you would like to complete the Bachelor's programme in Spatial Planning and Development at the TU Wien, and formulate your expectations of the programme.
The letter of motivation should be written in German and uploaded during the online registration.

3. ranking test

The written assessment test will only take place if the number of prospective students exceeds the 200 places mentioned above. It should be noted that this number has never been reached in the last 50 years of spatial planning at the TU Wien.
