About me
I was studying at Lomonosov Moscow State University at the Department of Chemistry for 6 years and graduated in 2021 as a Specialist in Chemistry. Last two years of my education I received a specialization in analytical chemistry. Since 2017 I have worked in the laboratory of bioanalytical methods and optical sensing systems at the Department of Analytical Chemistry. My thesis included development of a new technique to detect an analyte and approach for the visualization in cells using an aggregation-based fluorescence method.
After one year of work in pharmaceutical industry as analytical chemist, I came to the conclusion that I want to continue with my studies in multidisciplinary science. Now I am working on my PhD project at the Institute of Lightweight Design and Structural Biomechanics (ILSB) as well as the Institute of Chemical Technologies and Analytics (CTA) at the TU Wien under the supervision of Univ.Prof. Philipp J. Thurner (ILSB) and Univ.Prof. Martina Marchetti-Deschmann (CTA).
Research
My research is aimed at finding the relation between the tissue biomechanical properties and its chemical composition. I investigate meniscal tissue micro- / nano-mechanics using atomic force microscopy and chemical composition via mass-spectrometry methods. I am also going to compare my retrieved data to chemical magnetic resonance images (MRI). In future this work may become a base for a tool development for early detection of meniscal degeneration and osteoarthritis.
