The block lecture "Future Drive Concepts" by Prof. Leopold Mikulic will be held from May 13 to 14, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in seminar room BA10B (BA high-rise building), Getreidemarkt 9.

  • Alternative powertrain concepts
  • Evaluation and analysis of these concepts – next steps

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • analyse future global boundary conditions for automobiles and powertrains respectively
  • derive future powertrains according to future global requirements
  • analyse emissions and energy consumption of future vehicle and powertrain concepts
  • analyse ecological and economical impacts of actual and future energy sources
  • define future powertrain concepts under consideration of new energy sources
