Die massive Zunahme des globalen Datentransfers erfordert einen effizienten Umgang mit Ressourcen. Edge-Computing, das Verarbeiten der Daten direkt an der Quelle, ist eine effektive Möglichkeit, Energie und Kosten zu sparen, bei zeitkritischen Anwendungen oft alternativlos.
