The anechoic chamber at DLR is a bit larger than ours. It uses two mirrors in the back of the chamber to generate plane waves.

On the 16th February of 2017 the Institute of Telecommunications organised an excursion to the German national aeronautics and space research centre DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt) in Oberpfaffenhofen.

Participants were bachelor students as part of our course Wave Propagation, as well phd students from our institute, institute E354, Johannes Kepler University Linz and Technical University Graz – as part of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Hochfrequenztechnik of the ÖFG (Österreichische Forschungsgemeinschaft).
