Riccardo M. Villa is an architect and a postdoc researcher for the Research Unit for Architecture Theory and Philosophy of Technics at the Vienna University of Technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan. In July 2022, he obtained his doctoral degree with distinction. His dissertation has been published for Birkhäuser under the title Upon Entropy. Architectonics of the Image in the Age of Information. He also worked as a Scientific Assistant in the Chair of Digital Architectonics (ETH Zürich) and a Visiting Scholar for the SHARE lab (University of Florida), where he teaches a course on architecture and the ethics of artificial intelligence.
