Anna-Theresa Renner
Assistant Professor Mag. Dr., career position for “Social Infrastructure Research and Planning” at the Research Unit of Public Finance and Infrastructure Policy, Institute of Spatial Planning, TU Wien. Her research focuses on regional and spatial variations in access to health care and the effects of unequal distribution of health services on population health and patient mobility. She is also currently working on projects on the impact of extreme heat periods on hospitalizations and occupational injuries in Austria, and on the effects of regional disease outbreaks on early childhood health in India. Anna-Theresa Renner was a Visiting Scholar at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard funded by the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation-Schumpeter Fellowship. Her previous affiliations include the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the Vienna Institute of Demography/Academy of Sciences, and Gesundheit Österreich GmbH.
